In order to prevent the bankruptcy of a company in financial difficulties, concessions are made in order to pay its debts and a new payment plan is drawn up with mutual agreements. Thanks to the concordat, companies that are in debt ensure that their debts are reduced, that they are paid by adhering to a certain maturity plan, and that bankruptcy is prevented. The reliability of the company also plays an important role in the acceptance of the concordat announcement. In addition to this, there is also a certain rate; half the proportion of creditors and their receivables must be exceeded. However, there must be a majority exceeding two-thirds of the amount of creditors in return for one-fourth of the creditors.
